Founded in 1914, the Royal Country Club of Tangier is the first golf course in the Mediterranean, one of the oldest in Africa, the oldest in Morocco. Modified by the famous British architects Cotton and Pennink, then renovated in 2001 by Peter Harradine, the Royal Golf of Tangier offers a quality game in a natural and authentic environment. Located in the center of the city, the golf of Tangier extends over an area of approximately 65 hectares.
The course has 18 holes, 6060 meters, for 70 and extends on a hilly terrain covered with forests. The 18 holes wave among cypresses, pines, fir trees and eucalyptus. Technical, this course offers a rugged part and a flat part for a game sometimes difficult, sometimes simple, with some surprises …
