On the ecological front, golf has always been misperceived as a sport responsible for a lack of environmental protection; in particular, it is portrayed as having negative effects on topography, hydrology, local wildlife habitats as well has it requiring a massive use of water and chemicals products.

However, this is a misrepresentation of the Royal Country Club Of Tangier With the involvement of its caddies, the RCCT organized Monday, February 11th, 2019 a clean day of its golf course.

This initiative mobilized the caddies of the club who worked hard all day to collect and burn waste ejected by buildings nearby.

The involvement of  the 30 caddies in this day highlights the importance and size of this national heritage for the city of Tangier.

Protecting the environment at a golf club helps to provide a better image of the terrain and helps or eliminate any negative impact on the ground and nature.

The caddies of the Royal Country Club of Tangier, are proud of their work  that was done in a great positive team spirit.

Our caddies were motivated by this action, and will repeat this activity on Monday, February 25th, 2019 with the same dynamic.
